The Independent News Press is the publisher of a consortium of local newspapers that connect communities across Virginia. Our office is located at 3976 Chain Bridge Road, Suite 102, Fairfax, VA 22030. We began on the 4th of July, 2024 in the City of Fairfax – centrally located in Northern Virginia.
We publish daily online with new and curated content written by our guest writers, staff, and editorial members. Our online readership surpassed 5,000 at the end of 2024. Our 32-page monthly print circulation of The Fairfax Independent began in September 2024 and goes out to 15,000 residence and business mailboxes in the City of Fairfax along with 1000 at pickup locations. Our second circulation, The Oakton and Vienna Independent, goes out to 6,500 residence and business mailboxes in the Town of Vienna along with 500 at pick-up locations. Our total print circulation is at 23,000 and we anticipate reaching 100,000 mailboxes by this fall.
365 Business Ad Directory
The 365 Business Ad Directory is our online business directory that is linked to all our websites and distributed in all our print circulation. We wanted to make sure that all businesses had an opportunity to advertise with us within their marketing budget. All 365 Business Ad Directory is linked to a business website. We do understand that businesses have many platforms for advertising, including social media. However, our directory will only accept ads from businesses with an active website. Payment must be received in full to start. Most categories are limited to 10 businesses.
